Corn Stalks for the Town of Ludlow
For the second year, the Garden Club has decorated Main St. in Ludlow with corn stalks. Marie Hassen again coordinated the project; and she and Patsy Kuntz went to a local farmer's field and cut down 200 corn stalks.
Then on September 25th, a large group of the members (not all pictured, unfortunately) gathered to put them up. Great fun for us all!
A week later, when Barbara Whittaker returned from a well deserved vacation in Branson, Missouri, she and Patsy put up the orange bows.
