A Merry Christmas To All

Thursday, Dec. 8th, was the last gathering of 2005 for the Ludlow Garden Club. Over 30 members and guests met for the usual wonderful Luncheon at DJ's Restaurant in Ludlow. Good companionship and exchanges of wishes for the holiday season were shared by all. Plus, many gifts and food stuffs were brought in for the Black River Good Neighbors; along with the $100 gift to purchase perishable items.

Our next meeting will be on April 13, 2006 for a Business meeting, and lots of program planning for another busy season of planting, decorating, and just enjoying!

On a snowy Vermont morning, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to one and all!

Decorating Library Christmas Tree

On Tuesday, December 6, many members of the Ludlow Garden Club got together at Fletcher Memorial Library and decorated the Christmas tree. The beautiful tree was donated by John Paige of Ludlow, and the Garden Club members brought in many new ornaments.

Pictured around the tree are: Ellen Parrish, Carol Baranowski, Rita Higgins, Jean Eggleston, Bessie Centini, Ann Dunnett, Patsy Kuntz, Barb Gulli, Maria Hermann, and Dianne Krupp. Kneeling are: Susan Kneebone, Nancy Sears, Barbara Whittaker, Janet Pace, and Rigmor Frink.

Don't forget the lighting of the Woman's Club Tree of Remembrance on Friday, Dec. 9, at 6:00pm; on the Green in front of the Library. This will be followed by a program at the Library, where all can admire the Christmas Tree, listen to Connie Wilcox' Bell Ringers, and bid at the Library's Holiday Auction.
